As you'll see in the video, most composite doors have a foam filled interior behind the 'beauty' of the exterior skin that you can see. That not only puts your security at risk but also makes the door prone to warping. sticking, and allowing draught and water to ingress.
Panel fading & scratching...
Most composite door panels are white and the colour is sprayed on. That means they are prone to fading and, if the door is scratched, the white panel shows through. Our Prestige Ultimate door panels are a solid colour making them fade and scratch resistant and, if they do scratch, you won't see a white mark.
Composite vs uPVC
Composite doors look like wood... uPVC doors don't. Like natural wood our Prestige Collection has a grained finish compared to the flat finish of uPVC.. That's not the only difference. Our doors are thicker, stronger, more secure and have a life expectancy of 35 years compared to 15-20 years for uPVC.
